High Mains Cottage is 3/4 mile from the little village of Ballantrae. Surrounded by farmland, it has a sunny sheltered position looking south with superb views of the River Stinchar, the surrounding hills and the sea.

The cottage is about 200 years old, whitewashed with a traditional slate roof and has been beautifully restored. There is a colourful cottage garden, with garden furniture and a barbecue.
